Treatment of wounds - Body
Egyptians were very clever they came up many ways to cure various sicknesses or wounds. One example of Egyptian wound care would be, if someone had cut his or her arm and there was blood being lost raw meat would immediately be put on to stop bleeding. Once bleeding had come to a minimum or a stop honey was poured on. Honey was used as an antibacterial. Once honey had been put of a plaster or gauze would be placed and was then supposed to heal over about a week. Although regular changes of the Band-Aid and honey would be required. This method also worked for burns.
