Funerals
The Egyptians believed that death was a transitional stage, that the person was moving on to a better and new after life. Each person was believed to have 3 souls ‘ka’, ‘ba’ and ‘akh’. All of Ancient Egypt lived upon their rituals and beliefs. after a death it was also very important to attend a funeral as the main driving force was focused on the rebirth of the soul. Masks would always be put over the deceased face this was very traditional and it provided the dead with a face for their afterlife. Masks also enabled the spirit to find and recognize the dead body and soul
